The Type 5402-4000 3 in 1 remote propulsion control head has a variety of features incorporated into one assembly.

3. Back-up Telegraph

This type of control head is often installed in the engine control room.  Standard control lever movement is 140°.

This unit can also be used for redundant electronic and pneumatic command signals, i.e.. Woodward governor system using PGA-EG Governor/Actuator.
