The integrated alarm and monitoring system on this vessel was designed and manufactured by Prime Mover Controls. All critical machinery functions are continuously monitored and displayed by the PMC IMACS. The INTEGRATED MACHINERY, ALARM and CONTROL SYSTEM combines three independent distributed control and monitoring systems.

A Type 8001 independent alarm system provides machinery group fault indication at the bridge stations, as well as monitoring the IMACS for internal faults.

Engineering for control system integration with engine, RAD (right angle drive) and clutch electronic systems was provided by PMC. Start-Stop control and indication for the RAD steering pumps is provided by PMC Type 8421 UDC indicator panels.

The digital shaft rpm systems for the four RAD's are PMC Type 8118. The navigation lights are controlled and monitored in the bridge by a PMC Type 8010 navigation light control panel.
